来年の世界文化遺産登録を目指す「飛鳥・藤原の宮都」について、ユネスコ（国連教育科学文化機関）の諮問機関、国際記念物遺跡会議（イコモス）が、現地調査を実施した。文化庁と奈良県などが 、橿原市内で発表した。
文化庁などによると、イコモスの調査員による現地調査は非公開で8～ の 間で行われた。世界遺産の構成資産に推薦された明日香村の飛鳥宮跡や高松塚古墳、橿原市の藤原宮跡など計19件をすべてを視察した。世界遺産の評価基準を満たしているかや、保全管理の状況などについて確認があったという。
文化庁の則本浩佑・文化遺産国際協力室長は「19の構成資産を巡るなかでたくさんの質問があった。しっかりと説明し、一定の理解を得られたと感じている」と述べた。
県と関係自治体でつくる世界遺産登録推進協議会も、会長の山下真知事と関係自治体のトップ３人が共同コメントを発表。「現地調査を踏まえ、イコモスにおいて世界文化遺産としてふさわしいと評価されることを信じています」と期待した。
イコモスは現地調査の結果を踏まえ、来春ごろにユネスコに対して世界遺産に登録すべきかどうかを勧告する予定。来年 、韓国・釜山で開催される世界遺産委員会で登録の可否が審議される。
「飛鳥・藤原の宮都」は明日香村を中心に橿原、桜井両市に広がる6～8世紀の飛鳥時代の宮殿跡、仏教寺院跡、古墳など19の資産で構成される遺跡群。中国大陸と朝鮮半島との緊密な交流を通じて、日本列島で初めて生まれ、のちの時代にも文化的影響を与えた古代国家の宮都であり、中央集権体制が誕生・成立したプロセスを、飛鳥と藤原という二つの宮都の変遷から示すことができ、顕著な普遍的価値を持つとされる。

Trump earlier in the week reportedly delivered the same message to European Union countries, urging them to enact new 100% tariffs on China and India for their purchases of Russian oil.
„Just say when? I believe that this, plus NATO, as a group, placing 50% to 100% TARIFFS ON CHINA, to be fully withdrawn after the WAR with Russia and Ukraine is ended, will also be of great help in ENDING this deadly, but RIDICULOUS, WAR“, Trump wrote Saturday.
„China has a strong control, and even grip, over Russia, and these powerful Tariffs will break that grip.“
U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright this week called on EU countries still buying oil and gas from Russia to shift their business to the United States.

Apple A19 Pro Beats Ryzen 9 9950X In Single-Core Benchmark, GPU On Par With Radeon 890M

Some Apple A19 Pro Geekbench CPU and GPU results that were just posted paint an impressive, if incomplete, picture.
In the last couple of days, some rather interesting Geekbench results for Apple’s new A19 Pro chip were posted to Geekbench’s results browser, and made their way to social media. These synthetic Geekbench results, one for the CPU and one for the GPU, paint Apple’s new iPhone 17 lineup in an ideal light, showcasing best-case performance, with short and bursty workloads. The results show that, at least in Geekbench, the A19 Pro beats the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X in single-threaded CPU performance and the A19 Pro’s GPU is on par with AMD’s Radeon 890M integrated GPU. These benchmarks, originally shared by Twitter users @Jukanlosreve and @Jimmyjames_tech, respectively, should still be taken in context of the mobile-favored synthetic benchmark they were from, but they are still quite impressive.
Such impressive single-threaded CPU results bode particularly well for gaming, though multi-core scores remain par with other high-end mobile CPUs, like the Snapdragon 8 Elite. And obviously, neither the A19 Pro or Snapdragon 8 Elite are coming even close to touching a Ryzen 9 9950X in sustained, multi-core benchmarks, with real-world workloads. But high single core performance is still a win no matter how you cut it, and with ever-ambitious ports coming to Apple platforms like Resident Evil Village, that improvement is surely welcomed.As for GPU benchmark, the A19 Pro seems to be broadly comparable to both Apple’s own desktop M2 chip and AMD’s top-of-the-line Strix Point iGPU, the Radeon 890M. With the AMD Radeon 890M featured in processors like the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, modern gaming is very achievable, and that sheer graphics horsepower coming to iPhones— boasting a roughly 37% gen-on-gen improvement — should allow for yet higher-fidelity modern gaming experiences on Apple phones.

The Dolphins do not have plans to trade the eight-time Pro Bowler, and they have not received any calls from teams with interest, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday.
Hill, a five-time All-Pro, has been rumored to be a trade candidate since the end of last season when he dramatically took himself out of Miami’s final game and hinted at a trade request.
However, Hill eventually apologized for those comments, and an official trade request hasn’t been made, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier explained earlier this year.
Hill, who is in his second year of a restructured three-year, $90 million deal, already used the $15.85 million option bonus for this season. It leaves a $10 million base salary and $1.8 million in per-game bonuses.
“I don’t really pay attention to any of that,” Hill said on Friday when asked about potentially being traded. “I feel like to me, noise is good — adversity is opportunity. I look at it like that.”
Still, his future with the Dolphins was thrown into question again by the fan base when the star wide receiver only had four catches for 40 yards in the season-opening 33-8 loss to the Colts.
Hill was asked Friday by Miami Herald’s Omar Kelly why he has not caught a pass of 30-plus yards since grabbing an 80-yard bomb against the Jaguars in Week 1 of the 2024 season.
The Super Bowl 2020 champ burst into laughter upon hearing the question and said, “You trying to piss me off today.”
Insisting he wasn’t trying to anger Hill, Kelly pushed a little more, asking if the throws are there for him, knowing he has the speed.
“I don’t know, bro. I don’t know, bro, ” Hill said. “I’m just grateful to be here bro. I love my job, bro. It will come. It’s gonna come, man. I feel like this week, we’ve got a great opportunity to go out there and make some plays. Move past last week and I don’t know man, it will come. Sometime I hope.”
Hill was visibly frustrated during the Week 1 blowout. He was involved in a heated exchange with team staff during the first half, dissatisfied with his lack of involvement in the offense.
The Dolphins and Hill have an opportunity to turn in a stronger performance on Sunday against the Patriots.

Hope you didn’t schedule time off for the launch.
A couple of months ago, Techland pushed back the release of first-person zombie kicker Dying Light: The Beast by four weeks „to allow for extra polishing work“. I guess that work took less time than they expected, but only slightly less time. After moving the launch back to September 19, it’s now been moved forward again. To September 18.

More than a million players have pre-ordered Dying Light: The Beast, and Techland is eager to keep them happy. They and anyone else who pre-orders has been promised „an exclusive new reward“, though what that reward is they haven’t said. It’ll apparently be revealed during launch week.
Our own FPS expert Morgan Park got to play an hour-long demo of The Beast and came away impressed by its size. Though it started life as an expansion for Dying Light 2, and will still be free for anyone who forked out for Dying Light 2: Ultimate Edition, it’s apparently closer to a full new entry in the Dying Light series.
„The Beast is a much larger game than I assumed it’d be based on its non-numbered subtitle“, Morgan said. „It has a completely new map, characters, and story—Smektała said his last playthrough was around 37 hours with the main story and sidequests considered. It’s not a standalone expansion, it’s the next Dying Light game.“

W sobotę 13 września przed godziną 17:00 Dowództwo Operacyjne RSZ poinformowało o poderwaniu polskich myśliwców. Powodem jest atak dronowy na Ukrainę i ryzyko przedostania się rosyjskich bezzałogowców na teren Polski. Mieszkańcy wschodnich regionów zaczęli otrzymywać wiadomości o możliwym zagrożeniu.
„UWAGA! Zagrożenie atakiem z powietrza. Zachowaj szczególną ostrożność. Stosuj się do poleceń służb. Oczekuj dalszych komunikatów“ – brzmi treść alertu RCB, która jest rozsyłana w wiadomościach SMS do mieszkańców wschodnich regionów Polski.
Z informacji przekazanych przez Rządowe Centrum Bezpieczeństwa wiemy, do kogo dokładnie rozsyłane są ostrzeżenia. Wiadomości trafiły do posiadaczy telefonów przebywających na terenie powiatów: Chełm, chełmski, krasnostawski, łęczyński, świdnicki, włodawski (województwo lubelskie).
Sobotnia akcja polskiego wojska może odbywać się na większą skalę. Wiadomo, że w patrolowanie nieba zaangażowano nie tylko nasze jednostki, ale i maszyny sojusznicze. Dodatkowo ze względu na prowadzone działania doszło do wstrzymania pracy lotniska w Lublinie.
„Przestrzeń powietrzna nad naszym regionem została zamknięta, operacje lotnicze są wstrzymane do godziny 18:00. Lotnisko jest otwarte. Uprzejmie prosimy o sprawdzanie statusu lotów“ – poinformował port w oficjalnym komunikacie.
Głos ws. działań polskiego wojska zabrał także premier Donald Tusk. „W związku z zagrożeniem ze strony rosyjskich dronów operujących nad Ukrainą w pobliżu granicy z Polską, w naszej przestrzeni rozpoczęło się prewencyjne operowanie lotnictwa – polskiego i sojuszniczego. Naziemne systemy obrony powietrznej osiągnęły stan najwyższej gotowości“ – napisał w serwisie X.

Месяцем ранее президент США заявил, что Путин понесет серьезные последствия, если не согласится на прекращение огня в Украине или не предпримет серьезных шагов в направлении мира во время их встречи на Аляске.
Но с тех пор, несмотря на то, что российский диктатор не согласился на прекращение огня, и даже на встречу с президентом Украины Владимиром Зеленским – Трамп не ввел новых санкций.
Вместо этого, как обращают внимание авторы публикации, администрация переложила ответственность за давление на Путина на Европу, потребовав от ЕС ввести дополнительные санкции против Москвы и Китая за покупку российской нефти.
