SPD-Kanzlerkandidat Martin Schulz zieht in der Kanzlerpräferenz der Wahlberechtigten rasant an Amtsinhaberin Angela Merkel vorbei.
Der Umfrage-Höhenflug der SPD geht weiter! Kanzlerkandidat Martin Schulz (61) zieht laut ZDF-„Politbarometer“ rasant an Amtsinhaberin Angela Merkel (62, CDU) vorbei.
► Nur noch 38 Prozent wollen lieber Merkel als Regierungschefin, 49 Prozent bevorzugen Schulz – ein Vorsprung von elf Punkten! Ende Januar hatte Merkel noch vier Punkte vor ihrem kurz zuvor ernannten Herausforderer gelegen (44 zu 40 Prozent).
► Auch in puncto Sympathie führt Schulz nach der Erhebung der Forschungsgruppe Wahlen mit 36 zu 22 Prozent; 33 Prozent der Befragten mögen beide gleich gern.
Auf der „Politbarometer“-Skala der zehn beliebtesten Politiker ist Schulz auf Platz eins geklettert (Wert 2,0 auf Skala von +5 bis -5).
Er liegt jetzt gleichauf mit Baden-Württembergs grünem Ministerpräsidenten Winfried Kretschmann (2,0) und vor der dann folgenden Merkel (1,7).
Frank-Walter Steinmeier als künftiger Bundespräsident wurde aus dieser Bewertung wie üblich herausgenommen.
In der Sonntagsfrage der zweiwöchentlichen Erhebung schießt Schulz’ SPD auf 30 Prozent (plus sechs) hoch.
Das ist der stärkste Zuwachs einer Partei im „Politbarometer“ überhaupt – allerdings hatten auch andere Institute in den vergangenen Tagen für die Sozialdemokraten schon einen vergleichbaren Zuwachs registriert.
► Die Union rutscht auf 34 Prozent (minus zwei Prozentpunkte).
► Die Grünen verbessern sich leicht auf neun Prozent (plus eins).
► Die Linke fällt auf sieben Prozent (minus drei).
► Die AfD rutscht weiter auf zehn Prozent (minus eins).
► Die FDP bleibt unverändert bei sechs Prozent.
Damit gäbe es derzeit weiterhin eine klare Mehrheit für die Fortsetzung der Großen Koalition von CDU/CSU und SPD.
Die Grünen sacken in den Umfragen Woche für Woche ab. Die Gründe der Krise: der Schulz-Effekt und abseitige Vorschläge.
Eine ganz knappe Mehrheit gäbe es auch für eine sogenannte Jamaika-Koalition aus Union, Grünen und FDP. Für Rot-Rot-Grün würde es ebenso wenig reichen wie für ein Ampelbündnis von SPD, Grünen und FDP.
Für das aktuelle „Politbarometer“ befragte die Mannheimer Forschungsgruppe Wahlen von Dienstag bis Donnerstag 1231 Wahlberechtigte, die Befragung ist repräsentativ. Der Fehlerbereich liegt bei Prozentwerten um die 40 Prozent bei rund drei Prozentpunkten, bei Werten um die zehn Prozent bei rund zwei Prozentpunkten. Die Projektionen für das Abschneiden der Parteien können also entsprechend nach oben oder unten abweichen.

Im Offenbacher Stadtteil Waldhof hatte am Morgen gegen 8 Uhr ein Mann (32) eine Frau (40) erschossen! Zeugen meldeten mehrere Schüsse. Staatsanwalt Dr. Axel Kreutz von der Staatsanwaltschaft Offenbach: „Ein Schuss traf die Frau und der war tödlich!“
Die Frau ist aus Offenbach, 40 Jahre alt und Mutter von zwei Kindern. Sie und der Festgenommene sollen sich gekannt haben, berichtet die Polizei.
Eine Ringfahndung entlang der A 661 Richtung Taunus wurde eingeleitet. Jetzt die Festnahme!
Hintergründe zu der Tat sind noch unklar. Der Leichnam wurde in die Rechtsmedizin gebracht.

По словам Захарченко, оккупация всей территории украинского Донбасса является „коллективной задачей“ террористов.
„И мы всегда говорили, что желательно это сделать политическим путем. Если же они не понимают, то напомню, что мы можем сделать это и военным“, – сказал главарь боевиков.
Александр Захарченко отметил, что экономическая блокада ОРДЛО, которая проводится активистами на подконтрольных Украине территориях, предоставляет право боевикам продолжить процесс оккупации.
Как сообщал „Апостроф“, ранее Главное управление разведки заявило про интерес Федеральной службы безопасности РФ к отношению населения оккупированной части Донецкой области к деятельности лидера „ДНР“ Александра Захарченко.

A teen from Japan has gained tens of thousands of followers after he created an account translating Donald Trump’s tweets into Japanese. @DonaldTrumpJPN has been tweeting since November, translating the US President’s tweets into Japanese and providing context too. Aside from tweets, it summarizes words and terms frequently used by President Trump on Twitter. The creator of the account, a 17-year-old high school student who asked to be referred to as “Mr K. T”, told BuzzFeed News he made the account to help improve his english. He now tweets several times a day from the account. The student said he finds it difficult to balance the tone and language of the translations, often changing his choice of language depending on whether Trump is talking about a friend or an enemy. “What I do is to write the text multiple times and pick the one that feels like the best fit. Also, I have to be careful with ‘wording’ not to sound politically biased” he said. “When it’s a statement directed to the American people, I use polite words, but when it’s addressed to political enemies, I choose more aggressive terms to my translations. This raises a little of criticism sometimes, but I always take the content into account and try to use the most suitable expressions.” When he gets stuck on a phrase or concept, he asks friends and family for assistance. Thankfully, the twitter account has helped Mr K. T with his English. “It’s been very good, because I can get to learn many kinds of expressions,” he said. “Besides, I acquired some knowledge in politics, and managed to listen to the voice of many Japanese people. It motivates me whenever someone says, ‘Thank you very much!’”

W ciągu kilkunastu dni mają być znane wyniki sekcji zwłok polskiej wolontariuszki zamordowanej w styczniu w Boliwii – poinformował w piątek rzecznik krakowskiej Prokuratury Okręgowej w Krakowie prok. Janusz Hnatko.
Sekcja została przeprowadzona w czwartek na polecenie prokuratury w Zakładzie Medycyny Sądowej Collegium Medicum Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego.
– Jednocześnie za pośrednictwem Prokuratury Krajowej wystąpiono do władz Boliwii o przekazanie w drodze międzynarodowej pomocy prawnej materiałów i informacji z dotychczasowych ustaleń organów procesowych tego państwa, zarówno co do okoliczności samego zdarzenia, jak i jego sprawców – poinformował Hnatko.
Helena Kmieć – wolontariuszka misyjna – została zamordowana w nocy z 24 na 25 stycznia. Zginęła ugodzona nożem podczas napadu na ochronkę dla dzieci w miejscowości Cochabamba. Zatrzymano dwóch mężczyzn podejrzanych o zabójstwo.

Pożegnanie Heleny Kmieć będzie trwało dwa dni. Rozpocznie się w sobotę wieczorem w sanktuarium Matki Bożej Fatimskiej w Trzebini, gdzie zostanie odprawiona msza św. Później przy trumnie będą czuwać członkowie Wolontariatu Misyjnego „Salvator“, z którym przez pięć lat była związana.
Niedzielnej mszy św. pogrzebowej będzie przewodniczył kard. Stanisław Dziwisz, w koncelebrze bp. Jana Zająca oraz innych duchownych. Kazanie wygłosi kustosz sanktuarium Bożego Miłosierdzia w Krakowie-Łagiewnikach ks. prałat Franciszek Ślusarczyk.

Суд заарештував столичний ТРЦ Караван

Арешт накладений у рамках кримінального провадження щодо завдання збитків ВТБ Банку.
Голосіївський районний суд Києва наклав арешт на нерухоме майно торгово-розважального центру Караван за адресою вулиця Лугова, 12, який належить ПАТ Лекс Холдинг, кінцевим бенефіціаром якого є бізнесмен Олександр Ярославський.
Про це пишуть Українські новини з посиланням на постанову райсуду від 14 лютого.
Крім ТРЦ заарештовано також торгово-офісний будинок площею 10,5 тис. кв. м за тією ж адресою.
Згідно з повідомленням, арешт накладено в рамках кримінального провадження щодо завдання збитків ВТБ Банку. Досудове розслідування було відкрито 10 лютого цього року.
За даними слідства, в березні 2013 року ВТБ Банк і ПрАТ Лекс Холдинг уклали кредитний договір з надання кредитної лінії на 75,81 млн дол. Термін повернення кредиту закінчився 15 серпня 2016 року.
Слідство вважає, що Лекс Холдинг не збирається погашати кредит і тільки для створення видимості здійснило кілька платежів в рахунок погашення на суму в 1,913 млн дол., при цьому останній платіж був здійснений 24 лютого 2016 року.
Поліція вважає, що, не бажаючи повертати ВТБ Банку взятий кредит, Лекс Холдинг сформувало фіктивну заборгованість перед Центром юридичного обслуговування Егіда (Харків) в розмірі 600 тисяч гривень. У зв’язку з цим 7 вересня 2016 року Госпсуд Києва за позовом цього ж центру юридичного обслуговування Егіда відкрив справу про банкрутство Лекс Холдинг.
Поліція стверджує, що рішення почати процедуру банкрутства було прийнято, щоб в подальшому мати можливість зняти обтяження на іпотечне майно з метою відчуження його третім особам, не повертаючи борг банку.
Як повідомляв Кореспондент.net, раніше суд повторно заарештував київський ТРЦ Gulliver. Арешт накладено за клопотанням столичної прокуратури в рамках провадження за фактом розкрадання коштів в банку Михайлівський і доведення його до неплатоспроможності.

Aufgrund der ungesicherten Kommunikation sei einem Gutatchten zufolge die sprechende Puppe als „verbotene Sendeanlage“ einzustufen. In Österreich darf sie aufgrund fehlender Gesetze bleiben.
Nachdem der Verein für Konsumentinformation in Deutschland vor dem Kauf der sprechenden Puppe Cayla gewarnt hat, hat die Bundesnetzagentur nach eingehender Prüfung ein Verkaufsverbot ausgesprochen. In Österreich darf die Puppe weiter auf neue Spielpartner in den Verkaufsregalen warten.
2014 wurde die Puppe vom Bundesverband des Spielwaren-Einzelhandes e. V. zum „Top 10 Spielzeug des Jahres“ gekürt. Sie ist nämlich keine herkömmliche Puppe, die dadurch glänzt, dass ihre Haare gebürstet werden können, oder sie Mini-Sätze vom Band abspult.
Die kleine Cayla versteht Fragen und antwortet auch darauf. Über eine App (iOS und Android) lässt sie sich steuern. So gut sie auch auf Fragen reagiert und Antworten auf vieles geben kann, so unsicher ist die verbaute Technik. Die Untersuchungen der norwegischen Verbraucherorganisation Forbrukerradet hat ergeben, dass die Bluetooth-Verbindung völlig ungesichert ist. „Dieses Sicherheitsrisiko muss dem Unternehmen schon länger bekannt sein, denn es gibt genug Berichte im Internet, in denen von einem ,Hack‘ der Puppe berichtet wird, z. B. in einem BBC-Beitrag von Jänner 2015. Geändert hat sich aber wenig“, kritisiert Ulrike Docekal vom Verein für Konsumenteninformation (VKI).
Nun hat die Bundesnetzagentur beschlossen, die Puppe aus dem Verkauf zu nehmen. Erschwerend hinzu kam nämlich, dass Stefan Hessel von der Universität Saarland die Puppe auf ihre rechtliche Vereinbarkeit mit dem Telekommunikationsgesetz untersucht. Dabei stellt er fest, dass aufgrund der ungesicherten Kommunikation die Puppe als „verbotene Sendeanlage“ einzustufen sei.
Dementsprechend droht den Besitzern eine Haftstrafe von bis zu zwei Jahren, ebenso jenen Personen, die Puppe trotz Verbot weiterhin verkaufen sollten. Die Bundesnetzagentur will nicht, dass eine solche Strafe ausgesprochen werden muss und empfiehlt deshalb die Zerstörung der Puppe. Wie das den kleinen Besitzern erklärt werden soll, dass mit Cayla nicht mehr gespielt werden darf, dafür gibt es freilich keine Empfehlungen.
In Österreich gibt es keinen derartigen Gesetzespassus, weswegen Cayla weiterhin verkauft werden darf.

Unfortunately, the U. S. government is still struggling to act, Wysopal said. „You’re just going to keep ending up with the status quo,“ he said, pointing to the U. S. government’s failure to regulate the tech industry or provide incentives for change.
It’s a feeling that was shared by the experts who attended this week’s RSA cybersecurity show in San Francisco. The U. S. government needs to do more on cybersecurity, but what?
Perhaps, the need for U. S. action hasn’t been more urgent. In last year’s election, Russia was accused of hacking U. S. political groups and figures in an effort to influence the outcome.
In addition, major internet companies, including Yahoo, have reported huge data breaches, one of which exposed details to a billion user accounts.
The list of problems goes on and on. However, what the U. S. government’s role should be in cybersecurity isn’t as clear-cut as one might think. That’s because most of the IT infrastructure is in the hands of the private sector, which is constantly churning out new — and sometimes vulnerable — tech products. But the private sector is not a big fan of regulation.
„Every year, people talk about improved collaboration between the public and private sectors,“ said RSA CTO Zulfikar Ramzan. „And of course, every year, it feels like we haven’t made that much progress. “

He predicts the state of cybersecurity will get worse before it gets better. One relatively simple hack involving a phishing email can affect an entire U. S. election, like it did, last year.
Ramzan recommends that the U. S. fully outline the public and private sectors‘ roles in cybersecurity, as opposed to leaving this muddled. „That would help things move forward,“ he said. „Each respective sector can do what they do best. “
For instance, the U. S. should be pushing out more standards on IT security, based on guidance from the industry. Meanwhile, the private sector can focus on developing new innovations that government bureaus can beta test and support.
Others, like Wysopal, who is now CTO at Veracode, say the U. S. government is in a unique position to spark change that can reach out across the industry.
Imagine if tech vendors all suddenly decided to build more secure products, not because of any new regulation, but because they wanted to win contracts from a customer.
The U. S. government is one of the biggest customers of technology. It’s in a prime position to demand tech vendors secure their products, which would pass those benefits on to other buyers such as enterprises and consumers, Wysopal said.
„It isn’t regulation. It’s securing the government and getting that ripple effect,“ he said.
„But they’ve never really done that,“ he added. „They’ve never put acquisition requirements in place. There’s recommendations. But they’re not as stringent as we see with the banks. “
Experts at the RSA show also brought up the urgent need for the federal government to train new cybersecurity talent – which is scarce in today’s industry – and to readily share its intelligence on the latest cyberthreats, rather than wait until it’s too late.
„Don’t tell us what to do, how to do it,“ said Jeremiah Grossman, chief of security strategy at SentinelOne. „Just tell us what’s out there. “
„The faster we get the data out to the masses, the sooner we can counteract,“ he said. „By sharing threat intel data, we force [the hackers] to change their tactics. “
But in the cyber realm, perhaps the biggest challenge facing the U. S. government is what to do about state-sponsored hacking.
The U. S. still doesn’t have a clear policy on how to retaliate, which does nothing to discourage foreign governments from striking again. But at the same time, many of these cyberattacks might be considered an act of war, said Mike Rogers, a former congressman who was chairman of the House intelligence committee.

During a panel at the RSA show, he pointed to the example of North Korea’s suspected hacking of Sony Pictures in 2014, which costs millions of dollars in damages.
„Is that an act of war? “ he asked. „It’s so hard to come to that conclusion, because [these cyberattacks] are happening a million times a day. “
In 2007, U. S. officials began realizing they needed a policy around cyberwarfare, Rogers said. But the government still isn’t close to defining it, despite wrestling with the topic for years.
„We were having a hard time coming to any agreement, and we’re not there yet,“ he said.
But clearly, something needs to change.
„I think the United States is in cyberwar and most Americans don’t know it. And I’m not sure we’re winning,“ he said.
