How exciting. Kate Middleton is pregnant once again! The 35-year-old member of the British royal family announced on Sept. 4 that she and Prince William, 35, are expecting. Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, will have a brand new sibling soon – but when? Well, with Kate understood to be less than 12 weeks pregnant, she’s expected to give birth no earlier than March 2018, according to the Daily Express. It’s possible that Kate gives birth to Baby No. 3 in April or May of 2018, depending just how far along she is.
Here’s hoping this new royal baby will have a day all to his or her own. Prince George was born on July 22 and Princess Charlotte was born on May 2. While it would have been neat if William and Kate’s third child shared a birthday with say, Queen Elizabeth II, 91, or Prince Charles, 68, it seems this bundle of joy will be born on a day all their own. While March or April may not be the most scenic months when it comes to English weather, this baby will definitely bring a ray of sunshine to Kate and William’s day when he or she finally arrives.
This baby will be the firth in the line for the British throne, knocking down Prince Harry, 32, to sixth place. Sorry, Harry! However, he didn’ t seem too disappointed in getting pushed back a spot when it comes to the crown. “Fantastic. Great. Very, very happy for them, ” he said when asked about his new niece or nephew, per The Guardian. When asked about Kate, Harry said, “I haven’ t seen her for a while but I think she’s okay.”
Hopefully, she is. This royal baby announcement was likely made on Sept. 4 after Kate was forced to cancel an engagement due to hyperemesis gravidarum, or extreme morning sickness. The condition, which Kate struggled with while pregnant with both George and Charlotte, requires supplementary hydration, medication and nutrients. The condition usually begins between four and seven weeks into a pregnancy, it can really begin at any time before the 12-week mark.

Irma, now a category three hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph (195 kph) , should continue strengthening through Tuesday, the NHC said in an advisory issued at 1500 GMT.
Some forecasters expect it to reach category four strength — the maximum attained by Hurricane Harvey, which recently devastated parts of Texas and Louisiana — by that time.
Irma is projected to reach the Leeward Islands, east of Puerto Rico, by late Tuesday or early Wednesday, bringing water levels up to 9 feet (3 meters) above normal levels, rainfall of up to 10 inches (25 centimeters) in areas, and „large and destructive waves.“
Irma’s path remains unclear, but several projections have it passing over Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Cuba before turning north toward Florida and then possibly swinging up the US East Coast.
For now, hurricane warnings have been issued for the islands of Antigua, Barbuda, Anguilla, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Martin, Sint Maarten, St. Barthelemy, Saba and St. Eustatius. A warning means hurricane conditions are expected in the next 36 hours.
Hurricane watches — meaning hurricane conditions are possible within 48 hours — have been issued for some of the more populous parts of the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe and the US and British Virgin Islands.
Island residents have been advised to monitor the developing storm. On the French island of Guadeloupe, people have been stocking up on provisions, leaving some store shelves empty.
Schools on Saint Barthelemy and Saint Martin have delayed their reopening after summer vacation. Authorities on some islands were alerting residents to the location of storm shelters.

South Korea has carried out a missile drill meant to „strongly warn“ North Korea over its sixth nuclear test, military officials said.
The military training involved long-range air-to-surface missiles and ballistic missiles, South Korea’s joint chiefs of staff said in a statement early on Monday.
The drill was carried out by only the Korean military, but more are being prepared with the US forces in South Korea, the statement said.

According to South Korea’s state news agency, Yonhap, „the training came in response to the North’s sixth nuclear test … and involved the country’s Hyunmoo ballistic missile and the F-15K fighter jets“.
The military added that the target of the exercise was set considering the distance to where North Korea’s test site was and the drill was aimed at practicing precision attacks and cutting off reinforcements.
North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sunday, with what it said was an advanced hydrogen bomb for a long-range missile.
The test marks a dramatic escalation of Pyongyang’s standoff with the United States and its allies.
The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) called the test a „perfect success“.
‚War should not be repeated‘
Following the test, US President Donald Trump criticised South Korea for what he called its „talk of appeasement“.
„South Korea is finding, as I have told them, that their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing, “ Trump tweeted on Sunday.
South Korea responded by saying it would continue to push for the denuclearisation of North Korea through „peaceful means“, Yonhap reported.
„Korea is a country that experienced a fratricidal war, “ Yonhap said, quoting a statement by South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in’s office.
„The destruction of war should not be repeated in this land.“
Responding to the test earlier on Sunday, Moon vowed to push for the most powerful sanctions yet against North Korea at the UN Security Council in an effort to completely isolate it.
The Security Council is expected to meet on Monday.
The US also said it will launch a „massive military response“ to any threat from North Korea.

BEIJING (AP) — China on Monday criticized President Donald Trump’s threat to cut off U. S. trade with countries that deal with North Korea and rejected pressure to do more to halt the North’s nuclear development.
Trump issued the threat after North Korea on Sunday exploded a thermonuclear device in its sixth and most powerful nuclear test. The threat was seen as a warning to China, North Korea’s main trading partner and only major ally.
A foreign ministry spokesman, Geng Shuang, criticized Trump’s stance as unfair to Beijing.
“What is definitely unacceptable to us is that on the one hand we work so hard to peacefully resolve this issue and on the other hand our interests are subject to sanctions and jeopardized, ” Geng said at a regular news briefing. “This is unfair.”
Such an approach would be drastic if applied to China, from which the United States imports goods worth about $40 billion a month.
Trump said it was under consideration “in addition to other options.”
Asked whether Beijing would support tougher U. N. sanctions such as cutting off oil supplies to North Korea, Geng didn’ t mention oil but said whatever happened would depend on discussions among council members. Geng said China, one of five permanent Security Council members with power to veto U. N. actions, would take part in a “responsible and constructive way.”
Geng expressed frustration at Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s comment that Beijing had a responsibility to influence North Korea due to its status as the North’s main trading partner.
“We keep stressing that we cannot solely rely on China to resolve this issue, ” Geng said. “We need all parties to work in the same direction.”

Według wstępnych szacunków, które południowokoreańska agencja Yonhap przywołuje za przedstawicielem władz w Seulu, moc rażenia testowanego w niedzielę ładunku wynosiła ok. 50 kiloton. Dla porównania – bomba atomowa zrzucona przez USA na Hiroszimę w 1945 roku miała moc 15 kiloton. Поліція шукає свідків вибуху біля Кабміну на День Незалежності

Поліція  проводить досудове розслідування у кримінальному провадженні, розпочатому за фактом замаху на умисне вбивство. Останні новини від УНІАН за 04 вересня.
Столична поліція просить свідків вибуху на вулиці Грушевського у Києві, який стався 24 серпня на День Незалежності, відгукнутися для надання свідчень.
Про це повідомляє відділ комунікації поліції Києва.
„Інформація про цю подію необхідна для належного розслідування і встановлення осіб, причетних до вибуху“, – наголосили у поліції.
У правоохоронному відомстві також повідомили, що слідче управління Головного управління Національної поліції у Києві проводить досудове розслідування у кримінальному провадженні, розпочатому за фактом замаху на умисне вбивство, згідно із ч. 2 ст. 15, п. 5 ч. 2 ст. 115 Кримінального кодексу України.
Зокрема, встановлено, що 24 серпня 2017 року о 14.00 невідома особа на тротуарі, що напроти Національного художнього музею на вулиці Грушевського, 6, використала невстановлений вибуховий пристрій та вчинила замах на умисне вбивство трьох громадян. У результаті дві жінки та чоловік отримали тілесні ушкодження.
„Зараз проводяться слідчі та розшукові дії для встановлення свідків та очевидців події. У зв’ язку з цим слідче управління ГУНП у м. Києві закликає громадян, які мають будь-яку інформацію про обставини вчинення злочину, звернутися до поліції за адресою: м. Київ, вул. Володимирська, 15, або за телефонами: (098) 965-82-73, (067) 235-24-34“, – йдеться у повідомленні.
Як повідомляв УНІАН, 24 серпня у Києві, на вулиці Грушевського, стався вибух, внаслідок якого троє осіб отримали тілесні ушкодження.
Секретар РНБО Олександр Турчинов не виключив, що вибух міг бути спланованим терактом.
Пізніше стало відомо, що внаслідок вибуху постраждали жінка, теща та друг Героя України командира роти снайперів 79 окремої десантно-штурмової бригади високомобільних десантних військ ЗСУ Валерія Чибінєєва.
У свою чергу, генеральний прокурор Юрій Луценко заявив, що у цій справі є підозрювані.
Слідство відпрацьовує декілька версій вибуху .

Про це в інтерв’ ю на телеканалі Прямий розповів глава СБУ Василь Грицак, передає «Тиждень».
За його словами, сімом з них вже оголошено про підозру.
«17 серпня в Харкові затримана велика резидентура російської розвідки, яка складалася з 18 осіб. Сімом з них вже оголошено про підозру, проведено 16 обшуків. Вони проводили диверсійно-розвідувальну діяльність на нашій території», – повідомив Грицак.
Також він вказав, що куратор резидентури належить до російської розвідки. Він з Бєлгорода контролював їх діяльність в Україні.
За його даними, у спецслужби на даний момент є ще одна група, що займається аналогічною діяльністю. Він додав, що нею керує жінка.

ЛЬВІВ-КИЇВ. 4 вересня. УНН. За попереднью інформацією сьогодні СБУ проводило обшуки в управлінні освіти львівської міськради. Як уточнила під час брифінгу очільниця управління освіти ЛМР Зоряна Довганик, згаданий інцидент не був обшуком – СБУ звернулось до управління з проханням надати копії документів. Документи стосувались електронної реєстрації дітей до дошкільних навчальних закладів, передає УНН.
„Насправді, це були не зовсім обшуки, а швидше вилучення документів. До нас звернулись працівники СБУ, щоб ми надали копії документів, щодо електронної реєстрації дітей, у дошкільні навчальні заклади. Ми надали копії наказів управління відповідальних осіб, копій положень та копії рішення виконкому щодо функціонування електронної реєстрації дітей до ДНЗ. Що могло спричинити такі дії СБУ? Це могло бути звернення батьків, незадоволених, які не потрапили до ДНЗ“, – про це на брифінгу повідомила начальник управління освіти ЛМР Зоряна Довганик.
З 1 вересня до львівських дитячих садочків прийняли близько 7 тис. дітей. Ті діти, які не потрапили до дошкільних навчальних закладів у цьому році, автоматично перереєстровані на наступний навчальний рік, додала З. Довганик.

China has attacked U. S. President Donald Trump’s threat to halt trade with any country doing business with North Korea after its latest nuclear test, saying it endangered vast trade relations between Washington and Beijing.
Foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said Monday, “What is definitely unacceptable to us is that on the one hand we work so hard to peacefully resolve this issue [of North Korea’s nuclear weapons development] , but on the other hand our own interests are subject to sanctions and jeopardized. This is neither objective nor fair.“
Trade impact
After Pyongyang detonated its biggest nuclear bomb in an underground test Sunday, Trump said he was considering several options in response, including cutting off trade with countries that do business with North Korea. That could quickly hinder the nearly $650 billion in annual trade between the United States and China, the world’s two biggest economies, because Beijing is North Korea’s sole major ally and its biggest trading partner.
Whether Trump plans to carry out his economic threat is unclear as the United States and its allies press the U. N. Security Council to take new action against Pyongyang.
Nikki Haley, the American ambassador to the U. N., told the council Monday, „The time has come to exhaust all of our diplomatic means before it’s too late. We must now adopt the strongest possible measures.“
Geng declined to say what measures Beijing might support against Pyongyang, saying it would depend on discussions among council members. He said China, as one of five permanent Security Council members with power to veto U. N. actions, would participate in a „responsible and constructive way.“
Australia also criticized

Liu said all parties should „seriously consider“ Beijing’s proposal for a joint suspension of Pyongyang’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs and military drills by the United States and South Korea. The United States has rejected an end to the military exercises.
