Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith sings 'The Victors' at Ohio State show

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith completed one of the ultimate troll jobs during a show at Ohio State on Sunday night.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WXYZ) – Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith completed one of the ultimate troll jobs during a show on the campus of Ohio State on Sunday night.
Smith, who grew up in Bloomfield Hills and graduated from Lahser High School, is a University of Michigan fan sang « The Victors » to the predominately Buckeyes crowd. It happened after the show was over and the crowd was not pleased.
He also sported the block « M » on his bass drum throughout the entire show at the Scottenstein Center, home of Ohio State basketball and hockey.
Smith is an avid Wolverines fan, calling the helmet « the coolest » in a 2012 interview with ESPN . « I just thought the helmet itself, the color and the way the stripes, it looks badass. »
Also in 2012, Smith brought former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Nick Lidstrom on stage at Joe Louis Arena. (The video below does use graphic language)
