Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez has been allegedly taken from his home, according to reports.
Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez has been allegedly taken from his home, according to reports.
Footage shared on social media this morning appears to show Mr Lopez being forcibly taken from the property.
This comes just days after right-wing politician Mr Lopez spoke to US Vice-President about political unrest in the country.
Pence praised him for « his courage and outspoken defence of Venezuelan democracy. »
Mr Lopez was convicted of leading anti-government protests in 2014, which led to the deaths of 43 people.
He was released on house arrest last month.
