North Korean leader Kim Jong Un celebrated his country’s latest nuclear test by throwing a lavish banquet for nuclear scientists, technicians, government officials and military officers, Reuters reported, citing the state news agency KCNA.
Analysts who spoke to the news service said the event was most likely held on Saturday.
The celebration comes after Pyongyang announced it successfully tested a miniaturized hydrogen bomb capable of fitting on an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) .
