HTC is planning to unveil a new version of its U11 smartphone next week, packing dual selfie cameras. Here’s what we know thus far…
Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) reckons the HTC U11 EYEs (codenamed Harmony) will arrive on January 15 (Monday) packing a dual-selfie camera.
The famed leaker says the phone will boast a large 6-inch FHD+ Super LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160.
Thanks to the near-edge-to-edge design there’s no room for a fingerprint sensor, which means it’ll now sit beneath the single lens camera on the back of the phone.

The squeezable Edge Sense feature will also be available if the leak (as it usually does) proves accurate.
Running the show will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB RAM. Storage is 64GB with the option to expand via microSD, according to Blass.
There’ll be a 3930mAh battery pack and IP67 water and dust resistance, he adds.
Unfortunately, months after its initial roll out, Android Oreo won’t be on board. Instead, it’ll be 2016’s Android Nougat.
Blass hasn’t published any information on camera specs, but his purported U11 EYEs render clearly shows a dual lens on the front of the phone.
The name of the phone also seems to lend itself to the front-facing snappers being the headline feature.
Reportedly, it’ll be available in red, black and silver. No word yet on when it goes on sale, but we’re likely to find out on Monday.
