In case you don’t know a few weeks back LG has released the Android 8.0 Oreo Beta update for these smartphones and now it looks like the official update is hitting the unlocked LG V30-series devices in the U. S, so without wasting any further time let’s jump to the detailed information about this update.
This update was first introduced for the Korean units of the devices and now after testing it for a while LG is finally releasing it for U. S units of the devices, so if you own an LG V30 or V30+ unlocked unit then it is a good news for you. This new update is arriving for the devices with a build number US99818F. Not many users have reported about the changes of new update but this software will surely bring the traditional Android Oreo features including the PIP(Picture in Picture) mode, Adaptive icons, new notification channel, better performance, etc.
The update is rolling out as an OTA(Over the Air) update and brings up to date January Security patch which is hardly available on any device yet. This new security update will fix the existing security issues of the device and protect it against the infected files. In case you haven’t received the update yet then there is nothing to worry as it is currently in release phase and will soon be made available to your device as well.
