Police responded to the call of an unresponsive man in the residence.
TEXAS TOWNSHIP, MI — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man in Texas Township.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 6100 block of Briarcliff Path around 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 on a call of an unresponsive man, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. The 53-year-old Kalamazoo man was later pronounced dead. Police have not yet released his identity.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5 to determine the cause and manner of the man’s death.
