Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S. C.) revealed on Tuesday night that the House oversight committee has launched an investigation into former White House staff secretary Rob Porter’s employment amid domestic abuse allegations.
When asked by CNN’s Alisyn Camerota whether the oversight panel would look into the circumstances surrounding Porter’s resignation, Gowdy said, « We did last night.”
Camerota pushed Gowdy on whether an official investigation had been launched, and the congressman replied, “That word probably means more to you than it does to me »
