Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, along with a number of his teammates, has never kept his faith a secret. From a hotel baptism just hours before a regular season game to Foles’ plans to continue sharing his faith with students, they have certainly inspired many impressionable young fans.
Fresh off their first Super Bowl win on Sunday, Foles and the rest of the Eagles are flying high:

But according to Los Angeles Times journalist Sam Farmer, Foles also had something inspiring to say about failure:

His statement reads, in part:
« So I’m not perfect. I’m not Superman. I might be in the NFL, I might have just won a Super Bowl, but, hey, we still have daily struggles. And that’s where my faith comes in, that’s where my family comes in.
I think when you look at a struggle in your life, just know that’s just an opportunity for your character to grow. And that’s the message. Simple. If something’s going on in your life and you’re struggling? Embrace it. Because you’re growing. »
