The phone was rumoured to mark its debut at the ongoing MWC 2018 exhibition, but now we will have to wait one more month to see the phone in full. Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has confirmed via a Weibo post that the Mi MIX 2S will be launched on March 27 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Interestingly, he also revealed the launch poster for the phone, offering us a look at the phone’s AnTuTu score (2,73,741 points), which is higher than the AnTuTu scores of the upcoming smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Sony Xperia XZ2.
Going by the information that was revealed in the past leaks about the phone, the Mi MIX 2S is expected to come with a four-sided curved ceramic body and a FullScreen 3.0 display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset inside the phone is rumoured to run at a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz. Furthermore, rumours also suggest us that the Mi MIX 2S will come packed with 8GB of RAM with 256GB of UFS storage. The imaging of the phone is expected to be handled by 12-megapixel dual rear-facing camera, one featuring a 2x optical zoom lens. The phone is also expected to come with an in-screen fingerprint reader, similar to that of the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
That’s all we know about the Mi MIX 2S right now. Apart from this smartphone, the Chinese smartphone company is also prepping for the launch of one another high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 7.
