Oppo F7 will be unveiled in India today at an event in Mumbai at 12:30 PM. The launch of the Oppo F7 comes just three days after that of the Vivo V9 and both are selfie-centric smartphones with AI camera and the iPhone X-like display notch. The company has already revealed several aspects of the Oppo F7 via numerous teasers and the leaked information added to these.

From what we know so far, the Oppo F7 is teased to arrive with a 6.2-inch Super Full Screen display with FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Having a notch at the top of the display, the screen is said to have an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.09%. the aspect that has been confirmed is the presence of a 25MP selfie camera at the front with AI capabilities. The AI features include AI Beauty Technology 2.0, Cover Shot, AR Stickers, and real-time HDR modes.
The Oppo F7 is believed to get the power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. The device is said to run Android Oreo topped with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.0 with screen recording and facial unlock features.
For imaging, we expect the smartphone to feature a 16MP camera at its rear with 4K video recording support, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The other goodies expected to arrive with the Oppo F7 are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 3400mAh battery touted to render up to 15 hours of usage time.
From the rumors and speculations, the Oppo F7 is expected to be priced under Rs. 25,000. Given that its direct competitor – the Vivo V9 comes with a price tag of Rs. 22,990, this price range makes more sense.
