The adult film actress claims she was threatened in 2011 over her alleged affair with Trump.
President Donald Trump has slammed adult film star Stormy Daniels’s claim that she was threatened to keep quiet about their alleged affair, describing the situation as “a total con job.”
In a Twitter post Wednesday that addressed a police sketch of the man Daniels claims threatened her, the president said the story was entirely fabricated.
“A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!” he wrote.
Daniels and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, released the sketch Tuesday of the man Daniels claims threatened her in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011 when she was considering telling her story about the affair she claims to have had with Trump in 2006, shortly after the birth of his youngest son, Barron, whom he shared with wife Melania.
The sketch has faced some ridicule after social media users pointed out the man in the picture resembles NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
In an interview with The View on Tuesday, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, said she would never forget the man who allegedly threatened her in the parking lot while she was with her young daughter.

« His face is burned in my memory, » she said, sharing the sketch. « It never left me. »
And in a widely watched episode of 60 Minutes last month, Daniels recounted the incident in detail.
« A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,’” she said. “And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone. »
Daniels also claimed in the 60 Minutes interview that the threat did influence her decision to sign a nondisclosure agreement in 2016, for which Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen has said he paid her $130,000. Daniels is now arguing that agreement is not valid because Trump did not sign it.
