Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter Jr. will miss the rest of the team’s first-round playoff series with the Toronto Raptors because of a leg injury.
Porter underwent a minor procedure on his left leg Friday to address swelling in the area of a bruise, the team announced. He will not play Friday night in Game 6 or Sunday in a possible Game 7.
Porter had been listed as questionable with a contusion to his lower left leg prior to undergoing the procedure. Head coach Scott Brooks said Porter was « banged up, » as he came into the series hobbled already.

Porter averaged 14.7 points on 50.3 percent shooting during the regular season, but he has not played his customary game during the series, which the Raptors lead 3-2. He has averaged 10 points and five rebounds during the series, but has not attempted more than 10 shots in a game.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is likely to start in Porter’s place.
