Huawei launched its flagship device Honor 10 in China last April, and it’s been just a week since it is made available in India. It is reported that one million units have been sold in almost a month by the company. This main exciting features of this fast-selling device are that it is powered with Huawei-made HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and boasts of a great dual rear camera along with a 24MP secondary camera, 6GB RAM, and a 19:9 FullView display.
The latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system comes out of the box with EMUI 8.1 Honor 10. It is driven through HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC with a whopping 6GB of RAM. The HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC is an in-house Huawei-made octa-core product with four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and 1.8GHz, respectively.
Regarding the camera specs, the dual rear camera of Honor 10 flaunts a 24MP sensor and a 16MP sensor, which is accompanied with PDAF, f/1.8 aperture, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) photography. This AI mode enables to recognize the real-time objects and scenes. Moreover, the embedded AI with this set up enables HDR and 3D Portrait Lighting as well. These AI features also hold good for the front camera too, which is implanted with a 24MP sensor along with 1.8-micron pixels.
The Honor 10 comes with memory storage of 128 GB, which unfortunately cannot be further extended with an additional microSD card. The sensors provided in the fast-moving device are a digital compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
Moreover, it also has an Ultrasonic Under Glass Fingerprint sensor on its home button for fingerprint recognition.
There are many connectivity options available in Honor 10, such are Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz, dual-band, and 5GHz), 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and a headphone jack of 3.5mm. This 3400 mAh battery-driven mobile phone measures 149.6×71.2×7.7mm in size and weighs about 153 grams. The sound system in this device comprises of a 7.1 multichannel audio chip for 7-channel sound effects.
Huawei’s Honor 10 is available on Flipkart for its Indian customers. For 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, its cost has been set to a total of Rs. 32,999. Unfortunately, there is no availability of the other variant, which comprises of 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage in India.
However, Flipkart is giving away a lot more buying incentives with Honor 10 for its customers. Honor 10 buyers who opt for a Jio connection can get 100 GB additional data and Rs 3,300 valued partner vouchers along with Rs 1,200 cash back. Similarly, it also provides instant discounts for buyers with Axis bank debit card, with an availability of EMI payments.
Moreover, besides Flipkart, customers can also buy the much-loved device on other online stores as well. Honor 10 has an online store in India, which is called by the name Hi Honor. Hence, Honor 10 can be bought in here as well. Apart from Mobikwik SuperCash of up to Rs 2000, a coupon worth Rs 500 is also given on the purchase of a smartphone.
