Samsung is making sure that its upcoming Galaxy Note 9 checks all the boxes before it makes its global debut. Even if it includes collecting approval from various certification sites. After being spotted on Geekbench and TENAA, the phablet has made its way to the Indonesia-based certification authority P3DN. Although the listing did not reveal anything new about the Note 9, it seems that Samsung might roll-out the device globally, including Indonesia, at the same time.
On the certification site, the Samsung device was listed with model number SM-N960F, which belongs to the Galaxy Note 9, and confirmed it to be 4G FDD-LTE enabled. Unfortunately, it didn’t rat out any spec details, leaving us to the information that we already know so far.
As per earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could sport a 6.4-inch display with 18.5:9 and thinner than ever bezels. The phablet is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 845 for the US and Exynos 9810 SoC for other markets, including India. Backing the chipset could be 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB storage options. The other tipped specs include dual rear cameras with variable apertures, a beefy 4,000mAh battery with fast charging, and an improved S Pen functionality.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 9 in an event in New York on August 9th, and its sale begin soon afterwards. Alongside the phablet, the South Korean major is also expected to launch its Galaxy Watch and budget Galaxy Tab 8.0 (2018). We should have more details in the coming days, so stay tuned.
