Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL with Android Pie & dual front camera launched; price starts at Rs 71,000
Google today unveiled the third-generation of its Pixel smartphones, dubbed Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL. The company launched the smartphones at an event hosted in New York and several other cities across the globe, including Paris, London, Tokyo and Singapore. The two smartphones are successors to the company’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones launched last year. There’s an Ambient EQ light sensor at the top that lets the screen auto manage the brightness levels according to the room’s lighting conditions. “That means no glowing screen—it fits seamlessly into your home. When it’s time for bed, Hub knows to dim the screen for a good night’s sleep.”
The device also comes with some of the new software features, one of which is Routines. This gives users a brief information of the day ahead. All they need to do is to say ‘Hey Google, good morning’ to get an overview from Google Calendar, Maps, reminders and more. Upto six users can have a personalised Routine in Google Home Hub.

The device takes images from Live Albums feature in Google Photos when not in use.
It is also possible to say ‘Hey Google, goodnight’ to set an alarm, turn off connected lights and appliances, front door and play soothing music.
