Manu Kumar Jain took to his official Twitter account to announce that the Redmi Note 5 Pro was going to be a part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale. The smartphone will start getting sold from the 11th of October but he did not mention how many units of this price/performance handset are going to be available. What he did mention was that the device is going to be sold at a special price, so at this stage, we can imagine that a discount is going to be applied when the sale officially kicks off.
The video posted on the Twitter account reveals that the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro will be maintained at five figures, but just as he is able to reveal the final digit, the CEO of Flipkart interrupts him. Both executives then state that this special price will be unveiled to buyers on the 8th of October, so customers will only have to wait till Monday and they’ll get to know more information about the deal.
Bear in mind that this special price is probably for the base version, which sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but that discount could also be applied to the higher-tier model.
