Pokemon GO developer Niantic officially confirms details regarding its Winter event for 2018, giving players their first glimpse at the upcoming bonuses.
Today, Pokemon Go developer Niantic officially unveiled the upcoming Winter event, which starts December 18th at 1 PM PST with some bonuses lasting all the way through January 2,2019. Of course, some of the most anticipated features weren’t directly addressed yet, but per the official event image, it certainly seems like fans will be getting their hands on some new gen 4 Pokemon during the Winter event 2018.
As part of this event, Ice-types including Jynx, Spheal, Delibird, Sneasel, Swinub, Snorunt, and Snover are set to appear, with the Pokemon GO announcement also promising “certain other Pokemon” being interested in the event.
