White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Tuesday that President Trump wants his next chief of staff to be someone who « believes in what » the White House is doing.
Sanders, speaking at Politico’s Women Rule Summit, added that Trump is looking for someone who « believes in the policies that we spend every single day, all day, working to enact and working to implement. »
« And looking for somebody who can lead his team at this point, over the next two years, as we move into 2020 and certainly into a much more political environment that we anticipate going into as a presidential election year, » she continued.
