A second South Korean K-pop star has quit the business after admitting to having secretly filmed himself having sex with women and sharing the footage as a burgeoning sex scandal mires the K-pop world.
Singer Jung Joon-young, 30, announced Tuesday that he’s retiring from showbusiness amid the accusations that he shot and shared the illicit footage with others without his partner’s consent, the AFP reported.
“I admit to all my crimes,” Joon-young said in a statement Tuesday. “I filmed women without their consent and shared it in a chatroom, and while I was doing so I didn’t feel a great sense of guilt.
