If you happened to stop by High Life Lounge in Des Moines in June 2009, you may have seen Luke Perry blowing off steam with fellow cast and crew members from « Sam Steele and The Junior Detective Agency. »
Perry, who died Monday at the age of 52 after recently suffering a massive stroke last week, was in town that summer filming the children’s movie, which was released in 2011.
« I think we put the (High Life) owner’s kids through college that night, » Tom Whitus, the movie’s director, said while reminiscing about the time he and Perry spent in Des Moines.
