Constance Wu offered a mea culpa Saturday, explaining her “f—ing hell” reaction to the renewal of her ABC show “Fresh Off the Boat” by saying, “its renewal meant I had to give up another project that I was really passionate about.”
The “Crazy Rich Asians” star reacted to news that her ABC comedy was renewed with a Friday tweet, saying, “So upset right now that I’m literally crying. Ugh. F–.” And when a follower congratulated her with “Great news,” she responded, “No it’s not.” Shortly thereafter, Wu walked back the tweets, clarifying that it “was not a rampage.”
