If we thought the White Walker-heavy Battle of Winterfell was grim, wait until you see what happens after s8e4 The Last of the Starks. How did Euron kill Rhaegal the dragon? Who will Cersei kill next? How can Dany take the throne? Will Jon murder her before she can? So many questions. The episode 5 trailer teases a little.
The only sound remotely dialogue like in the preview for Game of Thrones season 8, episode 5 is a bellowing Drogon, who will drop from the sky in a blaze of glory (and hopefully avoid Euron’s giant crossbow fire, because we can’t deal with another dragon death).
Creators D. B. Weiss and David Benioff opt out of any foreboding words — most of those were in episode 4, “The Last of the Starks,” anyway — and favor the silent treatment.
