Update now available on Windows 7 and 8.1
The issue, which was confirmed by Microsoft in all Windows 10 cumulative updates, Windows 7 and 8.1 monthly rollups, makes it impossible for users of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge (available on Windows 10 exclusively) to connect to gov.uk pages.
“After installing the May 14,2019 update, some gov.uk websites that don’t support HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) may not be accessible through Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge,” Microsoft explains.
