Jacob Blake spoke out from his hospital bed in a video released Saturday night by his attorney, Ben Crump. Blake was paralyzed from the waist down after being shot seven times in Kenosha, Wisconsin by a police officer responding to a call from a woman who claimed Blake “was present and was not supposed to be on the premises.” Blake reportedly fought with police, did not respond to a taser, and was in the process of attempting to enter the driver’s side of his vehicle when he was shot.
