Overall, Biden gained 257 votes to Trump’s 125. The $3 million the Trump campaign paid for the recount they demanded gained Trump 125 votes toward the 20,000 deficit Trump was facing—that alone was not helpful to Trump since the $3 million also gained more than twice that for Biden.
