Alabama Shakes drummer Steve Johnson is denying the child abuse allegations against him, which led to an indictment and arrest last week. “Steve Johnson maintains his innocence on all of these allegations,” the musician’s lawyer Nick Lough told The Associated Press Friday. “And that’s what they are, allegations,” said Lough, who thinks a “spanking” incident might have in some way fueled the charge.
