Based on Margaret Atwood’s classic book, the show has been a hit on the streaming service through the first three seasons. « The Handmaid’s Tale » is set in a dystopian alternate reality where women are subjugated under a totalitarian government. The new season features June (Elisabeth Moss) taking on the role of a « fierce rebel leader » against the Republic of Gilead, according to Hulu’s synopsis. « The Handmaid’s Tale » has received numerous awards, including an Emmy for outstanding drama series in 2017, and a Golden Globe for best drama series in 2018.
