June 1 (UPI) — Outlander Season 6 is coming in 2022. Starz said in a press release Tuesday on World Outlander Day that production has wrapped on Season 6 of the historical drama series. The season will premiere in early 2022. Season 6 will consist of eight episodes and kick off with a 90-minute premiere. Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan will return to star as Claire and Jamie Fraser, with Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin as Brianna and Roger MacKenzie. « We are excited to get into the editing room to work on bringing fans one step closer to reuniting with the family back on Fraser’s Ridge, » showrunner Matthew B.
