Labor Day is September 6, but Best Buy is getting a head start on shipping great deals right to your door. Here are all the best deals on home appliances, TVs, laptops and more.
Best Buy’s Labor Day sale is in full swing on its website. If you’re in the market for appliances, it’s a good weekend to buy as there are massive savings on brands like LG and Samsung. Not in the market for an appliance? How about a TV? There are deep discounts on smart TVs from TCL and Sony. How about Apple products? You can find MacBooks, iPads, and Apple Watch all on sale right now. The catch is that there’s no guarantee that everything will stay in stock all weekend. So the best time to shop is right now. This smart electric range from Samsung has an incredible amount of tech packed into a sleek-looking, fingerprint-resistant stainless steel package. Able to connect to your wireless network, you’ll be able to preheat and adjust the cook time and temperature of your oven and monitor your cooktop with the Samsung app on your phone. You can even use Google Assistant or Alexa to control your range. The burner has a 3,300W rapid boil element to boil water quickly (and your 10th grade science teacher said you couldn’t boil water faster). It has self clean and a neat steam clean cycle that’ll let you bake off crud faster. The flat cooktop is flexible, with two dual-ring burners to accommodate pots and pans of various sizes. I really like the presets and SmartThings recipes available as well, giving you various options based on the food you’ve got in your kitchen. This AI-powered washer/dryer combo from Samsung has voluminous capacity, the ability to wash and dry a load of laundry in an hour, steam cleaning and has an antimicrobial coating so that it doesn’t develop any funky odors. The Wi-Fi connectivity lets you connect to the Samsung app so you don’t have to be listening for a chime at the end of the cycle. They’re also stackable and you can operate the washer and dryer from the same panel. The pair are almost $600 off for Labor Day. With TrueSteam, wireless connectivity and whisper-quiet operation, you’ll wish you’d gotten this LG dishwasher sooner. With the top silverware rack, you have even more room to load your dishes. It keeps everything absolutely gleaming with its drying system that keeps moisture from building up in the dishwasher after a load is done. The smart features are actually helpful too, letting you know when you need more drying aid and when it’s due for a cleaning cycle. At over $1,100 off, you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal this weekend on a fridge this loaded with features. Everything about this LG refrigerator is about keeping it as nice as when it’s first delivered. Not only does it have a pharmaceutical-grade water filter and in-door ice maker (with a handy removable ice bucket), but the LG keeps itself fresh by actively pushing fresh air in, keeping odors from building up. It also has a print-proof finish. I really like the two freezer drawers (I can never utilize tiered drawers in my freezer properly, this solves that). The shelves are easy to move and you can quickly get diagnostic data and control temperatures and controls from the LG ThinQ smart app. Epson’s diminutive projector (it’s just under 10-inches squared) is a powerhouse of entertainment. It uses MicroLaser Array technology to display a gorgeously clear image that’s up to 150 inches large. Setting up the EF-100 is ridiculously simple. Power it on, point it at a wall or screen and add it to your WiFi network. It’s powered by Android TV, so in addition to the standard Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime, it also supports HBO Max and Disney+. The sound pumped out by the onboard speaker is surprisingly good given its size, but you can also choose to use the onboard Bluetooth to connect to a portable speaker.
