If you were expecting Apple to introduce higher wireless charging speeds with the iPhone 13, you will be disappointed
Some features of Apple’s newest iPhone 13 family can only be found with a little digging. On this occasion, Apple felt it did not have to increase wireless charging speeds on the latest iPhones as the figure remains unchanged compared to the supported wattages on the iPhone 12 series. If you scroll down on any iPhone 13 model’s ‘Tech Specs’ section, you will come across the wireless charging specifications. Just like last year, Apple has seen fit to limit all iPhone 13 models to 7.5W of wireless charging if you use a Qi-enabled device and 15W if you use an Apple MagSafe charger or a third-party MagSafe charging accessory approved by the company.
