Nearly A Decade After It Was First Released, Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ Could Hit No.1

Is Taylor Swift about to score her eighth No. 1 hit in a few days?
Even before Taylor Swift released her new full-length Red (Taylor’s Version), the title was bound for the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The set is out now, and it’s likely going to debut in first place on the ranking of the most-consumed musical projects in the U.S. with somewhere between 400,000 and half a million equivalent units shifted. The title is going to be a historic win for the singer-songwriter, and it may also give her another No.1 hit in an unlikely and unexpected track. It’s still early in the tracking week, but there seems to be a chance that Swift’s song “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” could debut at No.1 on the Hot 100. The song isn’t the type of tune that typically rises to the peak position on the list of the most popular tracks in America, but there is so much happening around the tune that a chart-topping start seems possible. Since Swift released the original edition of her album Red back in 2012, “All Too Well” has been not just a fan favorite, but a critical smash.
