Apple has partnered with Unidays in the U.S. to verify education discounts for purchases.
Editor’s note 1/21/22: As first reported by MacRumors, Apple has removed Unidays from its Apple education store and is, at the moment, not requiring verification through Unidays. Macworld has contacted Apple for clarification and we will update this article if we receive further information. Students and teachers have long enjoyed the benefits of Apple’s education pricing, which offers the latest devices at a lower price. And in the U.S., many non-students and teachers enjoyed it as well due to Apple’s extremely lax terms in its online education store.
