A Canadian court ordered a group of trucker protestors off of a border bridge between Ontario and Michigan Friday, giving the blockade until 7 p.m. to disperse. The so-called “Freedom Convoy” has been blocking traffic from the bridge for five days in protest of COVID-19 mandates, forcing plant closures and work stoppages in Detroit, Michigan, and Windsor, Ontario, because materials can’t get across the border.
