Bundy, the leader of the People’s Rights network, was arrested for allegedly refusing to leave an Idaho hospital on Friday night. He later said on Twitter that he had shown up at the hospital to help a friend whose grandson had been medically kidnapped. »
Ammon Bundy, a far-right activist who’s running to become Idaho’s next governor as an independent, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday for allegedly refusing to leave a hospital, police said. According to the Meridian Police Department, Bundy was among a group of people who showed up at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center and refused to leave the property. Bundy, the leader of the People’s Rights movement, was arrested just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning on misdemeanor charges. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.
