Around 1,000 civilians, mostly women and children, are still trapped there. Russians resumed the shelling of Azovstal in the evening of May 1. The Ukrainian government will continue to evacuate people from Mariupol on Monday. About 100,000 people are still trapped in the city, which has been severely damaged by Russian shelling, missiles, bombs and attacks.
