It is a game of stamina, endurance, and fierceness. Intel is needed to survive, and your uniform determines your valor. The opposition is often found at the intersection of brand awareness and traditional business. Welcome – back – to New York City Fashion Week, where the world has converged on the most iconic city – one that never sleeps – and it refused to close its eyes for an entire week.
New York Fashion Week was full of life this season. Looks from Spring/Summer 2023 collections hit venues all over the city, and events happened round the clock. Besides the models, who are ubiquitous to fashion, New York Fashion Week hosted plenty of talented musicians like Doja Cat, Fivio Foreign, Latto, Skepta, Lil Nas X, and Remy Ma, who walked in the Sprayground show. Music artists Diplo, and G-Eazy would merrily spin tunes at some of the after-parties.

Also on the runways were athletes like Kyle Kuzma and olympian Usain Bolt, who both walked in the Puma show at the famous Cipriani restaurant on Wall Street. Also seen at shows and events were NBA All-Stars Jordan Clarkson, Serge Ibaka, Ben Simmons, PJ Tucker, and Russell Westbrook, who has his own fashion line titled Honor The Gift.
New York City streets conducted energy that was once fading from this fashion week. VFILES collaborated with Jaded London on a 3-day pop-up at 12 Mercer Street, and to commemorate the shop, they held a party at the PUBLIC hotel, with music played by notable and fashionable DJs Siobhan Bell, Angel and Dren, and Zack Bia, to name a few.
