Late in the first quarter of Sunday’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, 49ers quarterback Trey Lance was carted off the field with his right leg in an air cast, and was ruled out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury.
Lance took a designed run for a 2-yard gain on second-and-8 before getting tackled by Seahawks defensive tackle, Bryan Mone, and linebacker Cody Barton.
