« Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery » and Season 2 of « Last Chance U: Basketball » are among the films and shows coming to Netflix in December.
After a one-week theatrical release, director Rian Johnson’s anticipated sequel to the 2019 film “Knives Out” will be available for global streaming on Netflix as of Dec. 23.
“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” sees the on-screen reprisal of James Bond actor Daniel Craig in the role of detective Benoit Blanc. The investigator sleuths around Greece to solve another murder mystery and encounters new faces along the way, such as Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson and more.
Other potential Oscar contenders will also make their debut on the streaming platform this month: Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre’s “Lady Chatterley’s Lover,” which stars Emma Corrin, and Noah Baumbach’s “White Noise.” The upcoming features will be released Dec. 2 and Dec. 30, respectively.
