Twitter chief Elon Musk launched another characteristic crackdown on the misuse of the platform on Sunday. The microblogging site said it will not allow users to promote their presence on Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribel, Nostr, and Post. The move to censor other social media companies on its platform, has been made despite attracting heavy criticism from millions of users.
« We will no longer allow free promotion of certain social media platforms on Twitter, Twitter said. The company, however, said it recognises that many of its users are active on other social media platforms.
