Bacharach composed several of Warwick’s hits including « Alfie, » « Walk on By, » and « I Say a Little Prayer »
Following the death of pop music icon Burt Bacharach, his frequent muse, R&B and Pop legend Dionne Warwick said his passing was “like losing a family member” in a statement posted to her Twitter account.
Bacharach, the Grammy, Oscar, and Tony winner, died in his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, his publicist Tina Brausam told the Associated Press. He was 94.
Warwick and Bacharach were for years a dynamic duo most notably known for their many hits including “I Say a Little Prayer,” “Walk on By,” and “I Just Don’t Know What To Do.
