Looking for a recap of The Bachelorette Season 20, Week 2? Wondering which lucky guy got the first one-on-one date with Charity? Who snagged a rose? And who went home? Decider’s Season 20, Episode 2 recap breaks down all the juicy details. Just be mindful that spoilers lie ahead.
Aaron Bryant, a 29-year-old software salesman from San Diego, California, literally dropped his jaw upon learning he was going on Charity’s first one-on-one date. He told cameras he had “butterflies” and was “feeling all the emotions” from the start because he sees the “passionate, empathetic, clear-headed woman” Charity is and can’t wait to learn more about her. And honestly? We ship them already.
Much to the dismay of the other guys in the house, Charity picked Aaron up in a bright red Mustang convertible, and after driving through Hollywood while bonding over old-school music and their military parents, the two arrived at the Hollywood sign where they popped champagne and toasted to the sign’s 100th anniversary. Aaron finally revealed that his trusty coin was double-sided, and Charity excitedly said that meant “the odds are always in our favor.”
After spending a romantic day together the two met up for dinner where Aaron opened up about his past, said he hasn’t always been the luckiest guy, and shared that he sought out therapy to better himself. Charity said there’s nothing more attractive than someone who’s going to put in the work, and the two spent the rest of the night smooching and dancing to live music from American Idol alum Lauren Alaina. As you likely guessed, Aaron B. got a rose and Charity said everything about the day was “PHENOMENAL!” High praise!
Did Aaron B Get The Date Rose? You bet!
The second date of the episode didn’t go quite as smoothly as that one-on-one, though.
