Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored 50 points in a Game 3 win over the New York Knicks on Thursday night but one play raised eyebrows.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid helped the team bounce back in their playoff series against the New York Knicks on Thursday night with a 50-point game in the 125-114 win.
However, it did not come without controversy.
Embiid was called for a flagrant foul in the first quarter. He fell to the ground as the Knicks were moving the ball around and then grabbed Mitchell Robinson’s legs as he was on the ground.
