Netflix edited out the moment Kim Kardashian got booed at ‘The Roast of Tom Brady.’
Netflix is keeping things light and fun. After Kim Kardashian got booed during Sunday night’s (May 5) Roast of Tom Brady, the streaming platform decided to remove the awkward moment from the final version.
The version Netflix subscribers can stream now features a disclaimer that says the live roast was “edited from a previous livestream.” Both the booing and Kevin Hart‘s attempt to calm down the disapproving audience were excluded from the final cut.
During the live event, Kardashian took the stage to deliver a champagne toast to Tom Brady — and roast him along the way. However, her first joke was immediately cut off by the sounds of a booing crowd. “Alright, alright, alright,” Kardashian said to the audience, while Hart chimed in, “Whoa, whoa, whoa.”
When the raucous crowd finally died down, Kardashian began her bit by taking aim at Hart.
“People make fun of your height, but what they don’t know is you’re also pretty mean,” she said.
