OpenAI launches ChatGPT Go worldwide, a $8/month plan offering more GPT-5.2 messages, files, and images than the free tier, with ads coming soon.
OpenAI is rolling out its low-cost ChatGPT Go plan to users in the United States and worldwide. The company first launched the tier in India in August. It later expanded access to 170 more countries before Friday’s wider release. OpenAI says the response has been strong, with users turning to Go for writing, learning, image creation, and everyday problem-solving.
The Go plan costs $8 per month. It offers more messages, file uploads, and image generation than the free version of ChatGPT. At the same time, it stays cheaper than the $20-per-month Plus plan.
