For 27 years, San Clemente has marked the Cinco de Mayo holiday with a cultural celebration at Max Berg Plaza Park.
This year’s edition, held Saturday, May 6, featured mariachis, folkloric dancers and traditional Mexican ranchero music together with vendors, exhibitors, rock climbing, a beer garden, food trucks and more.
The holiday commemorates Mexico’s victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5,1862.
