Despite scandal over his firing of James Comey, President Trump has Rosie-tinted glasses.
Trump replied to a months-old tweet from actress Rosie O’ Donnell on Thursday afternoon, giving his explanation for sacking the now former FBI director a surreal twist.
“We finally agree on something Rosie, ” he said in response to a December post from O’ Donnell when she advocated for putting Comey out of a job.
Rosie’s tweet on Dec. 20 came as response to criticism of Comey for his handling of the Hillary Clinton probe, particularly the decision to “reopen” the investigation less than two weeks before the election because of emails that ended up on disgraced pol Anthony Weiner’s computer.

But the former reality TV star has repeatedly resurrected his old tiff with her, especially in times of trouble.

It was not immediately clear how Trump found the December tweet, which had received only a small amount of retweets and likes before Thursday.
O’Donnell responded a half hour after Trump’s jab by referencing Comey and saying «he shoulda been fired when he threw the election — we see his motives now — TRUMP IS DONE 4 good.»
