A Memphis-based rapper — whose concert in Arkansas was at the center of a shooting that left 28 people injured — was arrested on unrelated charges early Sunday.
Ricky Hampton, also known as rapper Finese 2Tymes, was busted on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault charges out of Forrest City, Ark., the U. S. Marshalls Service said.
No arrests have been made in the Power Ultra Lounge shooting where Hampton was performing, Little Rock police said .
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from “some sort of dispute” between gang rivals in the crowd. City officials are looking to shut down the club Monday as part of a “criminal abatement” program.

The 2: 30 a.m. Saturday gunfire left 25 people with gunshots wounds, and three with other injuries acquired while trying to escape the scene, police said. The shooting victims’ ages range from 16 to 35.
More than 20 shots were fired during the concert, and people can be heard screaming in the background as the image went black, video taken by a concertgoer shows.
Hampton, in a Facebook post after they mayhem, expressed his condolences to the wounded victims.
“The violence is not for the club people, ” the rapper wrote. “We all come with 1 motive at the end of the day, and that’s to have fun. Not to be hurt. So again I send my condolences to the people who were hurt.”

Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola said he’s working with «state and local officials to crack down on those who are on probation and parole who are illegally carrying weapons.”
Promotional material for Hampton’s Friday concert shows a man pointing a gun at a camera.
Hampton and another man, 25-year-old Kentrell Gwynn, were arrested outside the Side Effects Club, where the rapper was performing in Birmingham, Ala., according to AL.com .
The two men were booked into Jefferson County Jail Sunday. They are being held without bail and are expected to be extradited to Arkansas, Al.com reported.
